The Twin Falls Community Foundation: A Positive Impact on its Community

The Twin Falls Community Foundation is a non-profit organization that has had a remarkable effect on its community. Established to contribute to the quality of life in Twin Falls, the Foundation has worked to promote charitable giving and philanthropy. Through its efforts, donors have been able to access information about their community, build capacity, and use a people-centered design approach to achieve the desired outcomes for their investments. The Foundation has also been involved in the redevelopment of Main Avenue Fountain Plaza.

Miles Dasher celebrated the opening of the new park by parachuting into it. Funding for the Downtown Plaza was provided by the Twin Falls Community Foundation. The mission of the Twin Falls Community Foundation is to encourage and improve charitable giving and philanthropy throughout the area. Since its inception, it has extended operations throughout western, central, and eastern Idaho.

It now supports more than 1,000 Idaho nonprofit organizations through its Idaho Partners for Good approach. The Foundation also provides grants to nonprofit organizations, schools, and other organizations, as well as scholarships to students. It has invested in many local service organizations such as the Magic Valley Safe Kids Coalition, the Twin Falls Zonta Club, and Idaho Voices for Children. I have personally seen the impact that the Twin Falls Community Foundation has had on its community. As a volunteer and lay leader in my church, I have been able to witness first-hand how it has helped individuals, families, businesses, and other nonprofit organizations set up permanent or temporary charitable funds.
